张西平

Prof.ZHANG Xiping, doctoral supervisor, Chief Scholar and Dean of International Chinese Culture Studies Collaborative Innovation Center, Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU). Also honor Director at the International Institute of Chinese Studies BFSU, and chief editor of International Sinology. As vice-chairman of the International Confucian Association, Chairman of Chinese Educational History in the World, Chairman of International Association of Chinese Culture Studies, Board member to Chinese Religious Studies Association and Comparative Studies Association, Prof.ZHANG is grant the Speicial Expat by the State Council of PRC.

Porf. ZHANG specializes in the field of studies on philosophy, Sino-Western cultural history between 1500-1800, history of Sinology and history of Christianity in China. In recent year, more focus has been given to the early sinology in Europe, and the history of introduction of Chinese cultures to Europe. Now he is undertaking a key research project on “Chinese Catholic Documents at Vatican Library” sponsored by the National Social Science Foundation, and a key project on “Chinese Ancient Cultures in the Europe” sponsored by the Ministry of Education.

Porf.Zhang’s publication includes 11 monographs and more than a hundred academic papers in the core academic journals. 

 

梁燕

梁燕  1963年生，北京市人。现为北京外国语大学教授，博士生导师, 国际中国文化研究院院长。

1987年毕业于北京师范大学，获文学学士学位； 1993年、1996年先后毕业中国艺术研究院，分别获戏剧戏曲学硕士学位和博士学位。中国第一位戏曲学女博士。

长期从事中国戏曲史论的教学与研究，多年专注于中国古代戏曲文学和中国近代京剧史的研究，中国戏曲海外传播的教学与研究，尤以对国剧大师齐如山的研究居国内领先地位。代表性研究成果有专著《齐如山剧学研究》、编著《齐如山文集》（十一卷），编撰戏曲文化丛书16部，发表论文80余篇，主持4项国家及省部级科研项目。先后获第十二届田汉戏剧奖、第四届中国“海宁杯”王国维戏曲论文奖、第七届统战系统出版社优秀图书奖、第三届中国出版政府奖。

曾任中国戏曲学院戏曲文学系主任、教育部高等学校艺术类专业教学指导委员会委员。

2010年10月作为高层次人才引进到北京外国语大学中国海外汉学研究中心，从事中国戏曲的海外传播与研究工作，兼任北京对外文化交流与世界文化研究基地骨干研究员。目前兼任比较文明与人文交流高等研究院副院长、中国文化走出去协同创新中心副主任、全国高校海外汉学研究学会副理事长、北京市学校中华传统文化促进会常务理事、中国外国文学学会比较文学与跨文化研究分会常务理事、中国傩戏学会理事等。曾任教育部高等学校艺术类专业教学指导委员会委员，中国戏曲学院戏曲文学系主任。

近些年在国家图书馆、北京电视台、中国人民大学、中国传媒大学、中国科学院大学、中国电影艺术研究中心、国际青年交流学院等单位举办讲座，普及中国传统文化与艺术。

 

顾钧

GU Jun is professor of comparative literature and cross-cultural studies at Beijing Foreign Studies University. He received his Ph. D. from Peking University in 2001. His research interests include history of missionary sinology and comparative literature. He is the author of S. W. Williams and Early American Sinology (Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press, 2009); Lu Xun as a Translator of Foreign Literature (Fujian Education Press, 2009); and about 60 articles.

 

黄丽娟

Huang Lijuan

Huang Lijuan is a professor of English and Comparative Literature. She got her MA in 2003 from Sichuan International Studies University, Ph.d in 2011 from Beijing Foreign Studies University, Postdoc from 2012 to 2015 in Research Institute of Overseas Sinology (with its current name as International Institute of Chinese Culture) in BFSU. She had been a visiting scholar in the English Department of UC Berkeley of the US from 2009—2010, and awarded as Fulbright Visiting Research Scholar in the Department of Comparative Literature of Yale University from 2018—2019. Her research interest includes Western Critical Theory, Women Literature, Transcultural Writings and History of China and the West, etc. Her representative work is Narratives of China: A Transcultural Study of British Travel Writings in 20thCentury (2012).

 

杨慧玲

Dr.YANG Huiling

Researcher, Beijing Foreign Studies University

As a full-time researcher in National Research Center of Overseas Sinology, Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU), Dr. YANG is engaging on interdisciplinary studies with the emphasis on history of bilingual Chinese dictionaries, Chinese learning during 16th to 19th century, and history of Christianity in China. She examines the language learning strategies and cross-cultural experiences of Christian missionaries in context of history of Christianity in China during 16th to 19th century. She has won a number of fellowships and been a visiting scholar in Hong Kong and many European countries. Her recent book received Excellence Academic Award Beijing in 2011 and National Nomination Award of Best 100 Dissertations in China in 2012.

李真

Academic Resume of Dr. Lizhen

MS. Lizhen has Master Degree of linguistics and applied linguistics of Beijing Foreign Studies University, and Ph.D. of comparative literature and cross-cultural studies of Beijing Foreign Studies University. Currently an associate professor in the National Overseas Sinology Research Center of Beijing Foreign Studies University, she mainly engaged in the history of Chinese and Western culture exchanges of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the history of Chinese Teaching Worldwide and missionary Sinology research.

Her recent publications include: Chinese translation version for Joseph de Prémare (1666-1736), S.J. Chinese Philogy and Figuism (Daxiang Publishing House, 2009); the Investigation of Chinese Language Learning History by Westerners. (Second writer, China Encyclopedia Publishing House, 2003); the history of Chinese Teaching Worldwide (Commercial Press, 2009); 16th lectures on Western Sinology (Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press, 2011), and etc. She had published more than twenty relevant Chinese and English academic articles on international and domestic academic journals, such as “Foreign Social Science”, "World Chinese Teaching," “International Sinology”, “Chinese Studies of Leuven University”, and etc.

 

管永前

管永前副教授，1970年生，法学博士，比较文学与跨文化研究博士后，现为北京外国语大学国际中国文化研究院院长助理、副教授，硕士生导师，中国文化走出去协同创新中心管理办公室主任，国际中国文化研究学会（ISCS）秘书长。

2009年博士毕业于北京师范大学政治学与国际关系学院中共党史专业，具有多学科、跨文化知识背景，主持、参加过多项国家和省部级研究课题，主编、参编教材十余部，发表学术论文五十余篇。研究兴趣主要集中于国外现代中国学研究、中国政治研究、中国文化海外传播等。

叶向阳

Brief Introduction

Executive editor of the International Sinology, an academic journal of the National Research Centre of Overseas Sinology, Beijing Foreign Studies University. He graduated from the Institute of Comparative Literature and Culture of Peking University and obtained Ph. D. in 2006. Besides, he once did research in University of California Los Angels, Fu Jen University of Taiwan and Chinese University of Hong Kong as a visiting scholar. His main academic interest includes Sino-British Literary Relation, Western Images of China and English Newspapers in China During the Late Qing and Republic of China Periods. His recent works include Studies on British Travel Books about China in the 17th and 18th Centuries (Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press, 2013) and dozens of academic thesis in the above mentioned fields. His is presently sponsoring Beijing Municipal Humanity and Social Science Research Project “Comparative Cultural Studies on the English Newspapers Based in Beijing During the Republic of China Period”. Besides, he writes regularly for the opinion column of the English Language Learning Monthly and part of the writings are collected in Have Prejudice, Won’t Travel(2008).

谢晖

1983年生，内蒙古海拉尔人。2006年毕业于内蒙古师范大学历史系，2006年至2011年在北京师范大学古籍与传统文化研究院学习，师从周少川教授，2011年获历史学博士学位。2011年至2013年，在国家图书馆古籍馆金石拓片组工作。现为北京外国语大学国际中国文化研究院助理研究员。主要研究方向为历史文献学、中国古代学术史、海外汉籍。发表论文二十余篇，另有古籍校注及参与编著数部。

孙健

Sun Jian graduated from Beijing Normal University with a master degree and studied in the Sinology Department of Ghent University in Belgium. In 2011, he was trained jointly by Beijing Normal University and Ghent University as PhD.

Research interests include the Song Dynasty political history, cultural history, as well as the academic history of the history of Song Dynasty in the English world.

Xie Mingguang, assistant researcher of IICS. He was a MD graduate from Peking University and a PhD graduate from PISA Higher Normal School in Italy.

郭景红

Guo Jinghong, associate professor of BFSU. She was a PhD graduate from Beijing Normal University.

Research interests include Russian Sinology, Sino-Russian Comparative Literature. The ongoing research topics are: “The Dynamic Investigation and Analysis of Contemporary Russian Literature Research - A Case Study of the International Academic Seminar on Far Eastern Literary Studies”, “National Language and Culture Studies along the Belt and Road”, “ Chinese culture in Russia “, etc.

 

张西艳

Zhangxiyan, Doctor of Literature, Associate Professor, Currently as a post doctorate at IICS. She has obtained master's and doctoral degrees from Shanghai International Studies University and Beijing Foreign Studies University. She has worked and visited Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, CUHK, Kyoto University. Research interests include the study of the dissemination and research history of Ancient Chinese books and Chinese operas in Japan.
