Notice|2025 Confucian Studies Summer Institute Enrollment Guide
How can the Chinese story be told?
What exactly is Chinese culture? And what is Western culture? How can we enable foreigners to grasp the spirit of Chinese culture, and Chinese to understand Western culture better? We have held the International Confucian Studies Summer Institute for fourteen years from 2011 to 2024.Applying a comparative cultural hermeneutics, we try to shed light on the interdependent structures of meaning between China and the West.In so doing, we try to excavate uncommon assumptions and common misconceptions. At the same time, we strive to promote the common values of humanity through mutual learning.
