International Association of Chinese Language Education Studies

The International Association of Chinese Language Education Studies is a non-governmental organization based in Macao. Its goal is to promote research on the history of Chinese language education in foreign countries, establish the subject as an independent discipline and facilitate communication between academics in and out of China , in the course enhancing international friendship and contributing to world peace.

The association organizes various academic activities to aid theoretical study, personnel exchange and international cooperation. It also publishes book titles on Chinese language pedagogy and the history of teaching Chinese as a foreign language in various eras and regions, including Southeast Asia, the West and China , as well as Chinese studies by Western missionaries in the 16^th to 19^th centuries.
