The center has put great efforts in gathering academic publications and archives and has built a large collection of them with many rare and precious items.

In 2009 it cooperated with other departments of Beijing Foreign Studies University to establish section of the university library dedicated to sinology, which opened in March, 2010. The center is also active in publication of academic journals and book titles through its partnership with multiple publishing houses in and out of China .
